Swebor starts a subsidiary in Mexico

Swebor Stål are proud to announce their new subsidiary in Mexico, led by Federico Forastieri. Federico has over 25 years of experience within the steel industry, working with sales and marketing development for some of the most influential companies.

“I wanted a new challenge in my career, and Swebor’s South Americas project was perfect for me. We will start by opening an office in Mexico, and later expand across the South and Central Americas.” says Federico.

The new installment will focus on expanding brand recognition and offer Swebor steel products to targeted markets. “The mining industry in the South Americas is in a constant need of reliable wear resistant steel. Our line of steel products will therefore be a great alternative.” continues Federico.

The new subsidiary is yet another one of Swebor’s recent investments, with the goal to raise the availability of high-quality steel.

“We are very happy to have Federico onboard; his experience and network will be a great asset for the company. This is just the beginning for us, we are planning to do further investments in South America, globally and here in Sweden.” says Petter Eriksson, CEO at Swebor.
